Tennessee is experiencing an opioid epidemic that affects communities across the state. Along with prescription opioid misuse, people now face a growing risk of fentanyl in counterfeit pills and other illicit drugs made to look like prescription medications. Education and awareness are key to reducing these risks.

This grant-funded initiative from the Tennessee Opioid Abatement Council supports the Know More/No More public education campaign. Through increased knowledge and awareness, we strive to empower communities with the information and tools (“Know More”) to prevent further tragedies (“No More”).

The Tennessee Foundation for Quality Patient Healthcare (TFQPH) believes every Tennessean can help reduce preventable opioid-related deaths through expanded knowledge, understanding, and less drug-related stigma.

Public/Patient Resources

Patients and prescribers can work together to decrease stigma and create an environment that feels safe to honestly discuss opioid use or misuse. In doing so, it becomes easier to catch issues early, discuss alternative medications, access treatments, and support recovery.

These resources are available to all Tennesseans at no cost in an effort to talk more openly with our healthcare providers or seek help when we need it.
