How do I register for the course?
Go to cme.tnmed.org and click on course under 'Latest On-Demand Programs' in the course catalogue. This will show the course information page and continuing education information.
At the bottom of the page, click 'Register. You will be asked to fill in some registration information and then asked to create a login name and password at the bottom of the page, prior to clicking 'register'.
If you have already created a login, click 'returning user' at the top of the registration page and use your username and password you previously created.
What login do I use to register for the course?
The login used to register and access the course is one you will create during your registration process.
Follow the registration instructions provided in the question above, then at the bottom of the registration page, you will create a Login Name and Password for the platform, BeaconLive. That is the account information you will use to access and complete the course.
NOTE: Only click the Login button at the top of the registration page if you have already created a BeaconLive account, otherwise it will not recognize you.
I have registered for the course. How do I login to my account?
Visit the Beacon Live login page. Enter the username and password you used when registering.
You can also access the login page by going to cme.tnmed.org and clicking 'my account' in the top left corner of the page.
How do I begin the course?
Go to cme.tnmed.org. Ensure you are logged in and select 'My Account' to view your dashboard.
Select the course from your list of recent registrations to begin the course. Additionally, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the course.
Can I pause during an on-demand course and complete it later?
Yes, as long as you are logged into your account before you begin.
To bookmark your place in the course once you are logged in and viewing content, you will need to exit your browser or click on the 'Logout' icon in the top right corner of your screen. This will allow you to continue from where you left off watching the video the next time you login.
NOTE: Pausing the video without logging out for an extended period will cause your session to expire, and your place will not be bookmarked.
What is the process to ensure I successfully receive my certificate?
To be eligible for certification, you must watch the course in its entirety. Your attendance is monitored.
At the end of the course, a link to the certification process will appear on your screen. Click on the link and follow through the certification process, including taking the quiz (you must receive 90% or more within 3 attempts to pass the quiz).
Once you have successfully completed watching the course and taking the quiz, your certificate will be emailed to you at the email linked to your account.
I completed the course but didn't receive or can't find my certificate email. How do I access my certificate?

Log in to your Beacon Live account with the email and password you used to register for the course: Login Page

Click on 'My Account'.

Click on 'Credits and Certificates' from the left-hand navigation menu.

Click on the 'Certifications' subheading.

You will see the title of all previous courses you have attended. By clicking on the search icon, you will be taken to the certification result page.

Click on the magnifying glass icon next to the Course title and follow the certification process.

Once the certification process is complete, click on the 'Email Certificates' button on the certification result page to deliver your certificate to your primary email address in your account.
If you have not received your email for registration / certificates, please check your spam folder and quarantine to ensure they have not been trapped.
I failed the quiz and don't have any attempts left. What do I do now?
You will need to reach out for assistance. You can contact the help desk for review at helpdesk@beaconlive.com or call them at 877-297-2901.
What if I am having technical issues with the course?
If you are having technical trouble with the webpage, watching the video, clicking forward to the certificate page, or any other technical issue, check the following:

Make sure you have a strong Wi-Fi signal.

If you have a VPN or any sort of protection software on your device, ensure it is not interfering with the course.

Open the course in a new browser.

Open the course on a different device. If you are accessing it from your phone, try a laptop or desktop computer.

Make sure you are logged in to your Beacon Live account. Click this link to access the login page.
